Lead Supply Chain for a Fast-Paced National Business
|
The Role:
As Supply Chain Manager, you will take ownership of the purchasing/inventory team, end-to-end supply function across the business, managing local and international purchasing, inventory planning, stock flow, supplier performance, and supply continuity across our national branch network.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can operate both strategically and practically, balancing forecasting, purchasing, stock analysis, supplier negotiation, and day-to-day execution.
What We're Looking For:- Proven experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or inventory management
- Works well and makes fast, sound decisions in fast paced environment
- Strong commercial understanding of stock, purchasing, margin, and supplier performance
- Experience managing both local and international supply
- Strong forecasting and inventory planning capability in a reactive industry
- Experience in distribution, wholesale, trade supply, or fast-moving product environments
- Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
- Commercially minded, practical, and highly organised
- Confident working with ERP systems, reporting, and stock analysis
- Able to work across multiple functions and manage competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
