Harbour Cancer & Wellness is seeking an experienced Clinical Trials Coordinator to join our Clinical Trials Unit in Newmarket on a fixed‑term basis for 12 months, to cover parental leave.
This role is responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of clinical trials, from start-up, planning through to execution, ensuring regulatory and protocol compliance, maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date trial documentation, and supporting patient safety.
This is a full‑time fixed‑term position within a small, high‑performing team. Someone with a "start‑up" mindset and a willingness to contribute beyond their core role will thrive in this environment.
Key requirements:- At least two years' experience in clinical trial coordination or a similar role
- Experience managing commercial oncology or haematology clinical trials preferred; Phase 1 experience an advantage
- Health science, biomedical, or other relevant health qualification (BSc or higher preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory requirements
- Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems and clinical trial management software
- Experience with research specimen collection and processing
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- High level of IT competence and ability to prioritise competing demands
