  • Oasis Engineering (part of the global Elaflex HIBY Group based in Germany) is a leading manufacturer of valve products for New Zealand & Export markets. We design and develop our own range of products for the Dairy, Gas & Hydrogen markets. Our continuous improvement philosophy is to improve our people, products, services, systems and procedures regularly.

    We are now seeking a motivated and capable Operations and Customer Services Officer to join our Tauranga-based team and help provide high-quality admin support to ensure our delivery schedules are met.

    About the Role

    This is an exciting opportunity to play a varied support role across the business in Operations, Sales and Finance.

    Reporting to the Financial Controller you will take responsibility for shipping and logistics both in our domestic and international markets, processing sales and purchase orders, and working collaboratively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.

    The role is advertised as full time but there could be some flexibility in hours for the right person.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for domestic and international shipments.
    • Preparation of packing lists, commercial invoices, and export documentation.
    • Liaise with freight forwarders, couriers, and customers about delivery timelines.
    • Ensure our freight forwarding systems and procedures are kept up to date.
    • Assisting with customer enquiries and orders.
    • Loading daily sales orders.
    • Checking and closing assembly orders.
    • Assist with the processing of invoices.
    About You:
    • Strong administration and shipping experience.
    • Preferred customer service experience.
    • Strong reconciliation skills and high attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and have a strong initiative.
    • Strong Excel and Microsoft skills.
    • Worked for medium to large size corporations, ideally with an international or global focus.
    • Preference will be given to those with Manufacturing experience.
    • Practical working knowledge of ERP systems preferable.
    • Personable and able to work collaboratively across teams
