About Us
Access Specialties is a proudly Kiwi-owned company with over 30 years of experience in repairing, servicing, and rebuilding Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs). We work with a wide range of leading brands and support essential services across New Zealand, including fire and power sectors.
With a growing team of 40+ skilled professionals, we're looking for a motivated EWP Field Technician to help us meet the needs of our customers in the field.
The Role
You'll work on a range of EWP brands and types. This job is mostly on the road servicing our customers on sites or in their workshops/yards.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance & servicing
- Diagnose & repair faults
- Conduct safety & compliance checks
- Provide onsite technical support
- Maintain accurate service records
- Manage parts, tools & field resources
What We're Looking For:- Strong mechanical, electrical & hydraulic aptitude
- Problem solving & diagnostic skills
- Customer-focused communication
- Self-motivated & organised
- Reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail
- Forklift, Auto electrical, Hydraulic, and automotive background are similar fields
