    Kiwi Skips is looking for a motivated, reliable Class 2 Truck Driver & Tyre Collector to join our busy Invercargill team.

    This is a hands-on role with a real environmental purpose - collecting end-of-life tyres across Southland while supporting wider Kiwi Skips operations. You'll work alongside Treadlite and Tyrewise, helping keep tyres out of landfill and contributing to a cleaner New Zealand.

    About the Role

    This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, working independently, staying active, and providing great customer service.

    Roster: Monday to Friday, with rostered weekend work (approximately one Saturday and one Sunday per month).

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Collect end-of-life tyres from businesses across Southland
    • Load, secure, and transport tyres safely
    • Use mobile technology for scheduling, routes, job verification, and uploading job details
    • Record tyre quantities and complete collection dockets accurately
    • Deliver professional, friendly customer service
    • Keep truck clean, tidy, and well-presented
    • Complete vehicle checks and report maintenance issues
    • Support general Kiwi Skips operations when needed
    • Follow health & safety procedures, including PPE and manual handling
    What We're Looking For:
    • Full Class 2 driver licence (essential)
    • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
    • Confident using mobile apps and digital systems
    • Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in quality work
    • Strong communication and customer service skills
    • Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
    • Able to pass a drug test if required
    • No criminal convictions
    • NZ residency or valid work visa
    Bonus Points For:
    • Waste, recycling, or transport industry experience
    • Good local knowledge of Invercargill & Southland
    • Additional licence endorsements
