About the Role
We're looking for a skilled Tradesman Painter or experienced Brush Hand to join our small, tight-knit team in Invercargill. You'll be working alongside a crew of four painters, delivering high-quality finishes across a variety of projects including residential repaints, new builds, and large commercial jobs.
This is a hands-on role where pride in workmanship and attention to detail are essential. You'll be trusted to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete painting tasks to a high professional standard
- Work effectively both independently and within a team
- Contribute to a positive, productive work environment
- Assist with a range of projects from residential to commercial
Skills & Experience Required:- Minimum 3+ years of full-time painting experience
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Full driver's licence
- Strong initiative and problem-solving ability
- Clear and effective communication skills
What We're Looking For:- Experience across both commercial and residential painting sites
- Confidence in running jobs and/or managing staff (preferred)
- Experience using airless spray equipment
- Ability to spray trim and roofs to a high standard
