We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Warehouse Assistant to join our growing team. This is a casual position with the opportunity for a longer term role in the future.
This is a Sunday to Tuesday role (20-24 hours per week), ideal for someone practical, physically capable, and detail-oriented, who enjoys working behind the scenes in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our auction items are carefully handled, packed, and dispatched efficiently. Much of the work involves preparing sold items for freight and managing associated logistics and documentation.
Key responsibilities include:- Packing sold items safely and securely for freight
- Preparing and processing freight invoices
- Assisting with the movement and handling of auction goods
- Maintaining organisation and efficiency within the warehouse
- Supporting the wider team as needed during busy auction periods
Our ideal candidate will have:- Good physical strength and fitness (regular lifting required)
- Confident, clear and professional communication skills
- A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
- Attention to detail, especially when packing valuable items
- Proficient computer skills for handling freight documentation
- The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Experience in warehousing, logistics, or handling fragile/valuable goods is beneficial but not essential - a great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
