Harbour Cancer & Wellness is seeking a Clinical Trials Assistant (CTA) to join our Clinical Trials Unit based at our Newmarket clinic.
This role provides vital administrative, operational and data support across the clinical trial lifecycle, working under the guidance of Clinical Trial Coordinators, the Research Manager and investigators. The CTA plays a key role in supporting trial delivery, maintaining accurate documentation, laboratory support, IATA shipments and ensuring an excellent experience for patients participating in clinical trials.
This is a permanent, full-time position within a small, high-performing team. It will suit someone who is highly organised, detail-focused, and keen to develop their career in clinical research within a supportive environment.
Our ideal candidate will have:- A tertiary qualification in health science, biomedical science, or a related health field
- Experience in a healthcare, clinical, research, or coordination/support role
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and general IT systems
- Knowledge of ICH-GCP and clinical research processes (or willingness to learn)
- Clear and professional communication skills, with a patient-focused approach
- The ability to manage multiple tasks, follow processes, and meet deadlines
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to support the wider trials team
Experience with clinical trial systems (EDC, CTMS, EMR, IATA) or oncology/haematology environments would be an advantage but is not essential.
