    We are on the lookout for a superstar Parts Consultant to join our award-winning Team in Taupō.

    Parts Consultant:
    • Division: Service Department
    • Location: 17 Waikato Street, Taupō
    • Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
    About the Role

    The Parts Consultant plays a key role in the daily operations of our Parts Department. You'll be responsible for procurement of genuine OEM and aftermarket parts, freight coordination, stock control, invoicing, and assembling pre-pick packs for our Service Department.

    Most importantly, you'll be an ambassador for Morrell Motors - delivering exceptional customer service experiences to every customer, every time.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Welcome customers upon arrival to the Dealership
    • Manage incoming phone calls and direct to appropriate departments
    • Process inbound freight and stock into Orion DMS
    • Coordinate outbound freight and liaise with freight providers
    • Invoice, quote, and charge parts to service, trade, and retail customers
    • Procure and distribute pre-pick parts for Technicians
    • Conduct weekly stock takes and monitor bulk oil supplies
    • Manage parts enquiries (phone, email, walk-in)
    • Balance creditors accounts and file invoices daily
    • Review targets and margins weekly with the Group Parts Manager
    • Maintain showroom accessory displays and in-store activations
    • Support marketing of genuine franchise parts and accessories
    • Maintain cleanliness and safety within the Parts Department
    • Ensure front counter and workshop coverage at all times
    • Uphold a courteous, professional, and Team-focused approach
    What We're Looking For:
    • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
    • Team player with a positive attitude
    • Experience in automotive parts (preferred but not essential)
    • Confidence using computer systems (DMS, EPC experience advantageous)
