Harbour Cancer & Wellness is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Clinical Trials Research Nurse to join our dedicated clinical trials team and Oncology Daystay team, delivering high-quality oncology care to our patients.
This role is a crossover position between the Oncology Day Stay and Research Nursing teams at Harbour Cancer & Wellness. The Research Nurse component involves coordinating and delivering care for clinical trial participants, including data collection, in accordance with study protocols and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards. The Oncology Nurse component involves providing safe, patient‑centred care to oncology patients attending the infusional day stay clinic.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:- A NZ Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate
- Experience in Medical Oncology and/or Haematology preferred but not essential (preferred)
- Extensive research experience and understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines, ideally in a drug development setting
- Knowledge and understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi applied in nursing practice
- Ideally a post-graduate qualification (preferred not essential)
- Capable & highly organised
- Teamwork
- Patient and family/whanau centred
This is a part time role working from Monday to Friday at our Newmarket site.
