Taupo PowerSports is looking for an experienced Service Manager / Foreman to lead our busy motorcycle and marine workshop. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee daily operations, support your team, and ensure high-quality service delivery that keeps customers coming back.

About the Role
You'll be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the service department, balancing leadership with technical expertise. From managing workflow and staff to resolving complex issues and maintaining high standards, you'll play a key role in the business's ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the service team to ensure productivity and quality
- Oversee daily workshop operations and job scheduling
- Handle escalated customer issues and ensure excellent service outcomes
- Monitor and improve performance against KPIs (efficiency, turnaround times, customer satisfaction)
- Maintain a safe, organised, and high-performing workshop environment
- Support and mentor technicians, building team capability
What we're looking for:
We're after a proven leader with strong technical experience in the motorcycle and/or marine industry. You'll be confident managing people, solving problems on the fly, and keeping the workshop running efficiently under pressure.
To be successful in this role, you will have:- Solid technical background in motorcycle and/or marine servicing
- Previous experience in a supervisory or foreman role (preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service ability
- The ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure
- A current NZ driver's licence
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail
- The ability to motivate a team and maintain productivity
- Confidence using tools, equipment, and workshop systems
