We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team in Huntly.
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for production planning, manufacturing drawings, and ensuring all materials and schedules are aligned to meet dispatch deadlines. This role is central to ensuring our workshop runs efficiently and customer commitments are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Create production manufacturing drawings using IMOS and Biesse Works software
Manage production planning from order receipt through to dispatch
Ensure production schedules meet delivery deadlines
Order materials and hardware as required
Support workflow efficiency across the production team
Liaise with internal teams to ensure accurate job delivery and sequencing
Maintain accurate and timely production documentation
About You
We are looking for a fast learner with strong attention to detail who thrives in a busy production environment. You will be highly organised, solutions-focused, and able to work effectively within a small, close-knit team.
You will also need to demonstrate:
Experience in joinery manufacturing is essential
Strong understanding of commercial joinery or office furniture production (highly desirable)
Experience with AutoCAD-based production systems or similar software
Strong problem-solving ability and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, proactive, and customer-focused mindset
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
