  • We require a Primary Care / Health Care Assistant to join our rapidly growing service at Silverdale Medical.

    Previous experience within the General Practice / Medical industry will be highly regarded however if you have proven experience in customer facing roles and are passionate about helping people, we'd also like to hear from you!

    We currently have one permanent position available, offering 32 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase to up to 40 hours to cover sick leave and annual leave. A 90-day trial period will apply, and an immediate start is available.

    This is not your usual Health Care Assistant role. There is very little direct patient care. The primary purpose of this role is to provide assistance to the Clinical Practice team with day to day duties.

    This is a unique role with varying duties, it is often best suited to someone who enjoys a variety of work procedures and not sitting in one place for long periods. It is essential that you can work independently.

    The role is very hands on and requires someone to carry out the following duties:
    • Work at Multiple sites
    • Surgical assistance at multiple sites
    • Autoclaving - surgical instruments
    • Problem Solving
    • Phone duties
    • Restocking
    • Ordering - Medical Supplies
    • Cleaning
    • Building Checks for Compliance / Audits
    • Administration work
    • Health Target assistance
    • Chaperoning with the Clinical Team
    Our ideal candidate will have:
    • Previous experience in a customer facing role or in a General Practice /medical environment
    • Confident computer skills and the ability to pick up new systems
    • The availability to work flexible hours and work across our 4 sites if required
    Hours are Monday - Friday with rotating start / finish times to cover 8am through 6pm (8 hours shifts). Could be some weekend work in the future. An immediate start is available.

    Remuneration will be aligned with the skills and experience you bring to the role.
