About the Role
You will be responsible for:- Setting out with lasers and GPS, completing as-built surveys
- Collecting and reporting site data
- Ensuring compliance with Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) systems
- Supporting contract management and preparing payment claims
- Coordinating site inductions for staff, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Assisting with construction activities when required
What You'll Bring:- A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Surveying is preferred, but not essential
- Willingness to pick up a shovel and work with the crew on site to build the projects
- Prepared to work long hours including some Saturdays
- Some experience, or willingness to learn to operate loaders, rollers and machinery
- Physical fitness and readiness to assist with hands-on tasks
- Minimum Full Class 1 driver's licence, WTR will be an advantage
- NZ citizenship, residency, or valid work rights
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Solid work ethic and reliability
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
