About the Role
We're looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a practical understanding of project and commercial outcomes to join our Specification team in Thames.
This is a varied, customer facing role where you'll support the specification and delivery of Cirtex solutions across civil infrastructure projects. You'll be involved early in the project lifecycle; developing concept-level designs, providing technical advice, and helping influencing specifications, while also supporting projects through to delivery.
This role suits someone who enjoys problem solving, building relationships and applying technical knowledge in a practical way.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage with engineers, consultants, and clients to promote Cirtex solutions
- Develop project concept-level designs to support product specification
- Provide technical advice across civil applications including retaining structures, stormwater, pavements, anchoring, and slope stability
- Support live projects with practical, solution-focused advice
- Conduct site visits, client meetings, and presentations
- Work closely with internal sales and design teams to maximise project opportunities
- Assist with training, technical documentation, and case studies
- Contribute to continuous improvement and product development initiatives
About You
You'll bring a strong ability to understand technical concepts and apply them in a practical, solutions-focused way.
You may come from:- Civil engineering
- Geotechnical engineering
- Mechanical engineering
- Construction or infrastructure delivery
You'll also bring:- Experience in a technical, project, or customer-facing role
- The ability to balance technical solutions with project and commercial outcomes
- Strong CAD capability
- Confidence working with engineers and influencing specifications
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach
