We are looking for a motivated and practical Agricultural Field Representative to join our team based in Ashburton.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, values independence, and has a genuine interest in agriculture and rural communities.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct on-farm sampling of silage, baleage, and pasture
- Collect samples from forage crops and soil
- Perform irrigation assessments
- Ensure accurate labelling, record-keeping, and sample handling
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers and rural clients
- Maintain equipment and adhere to health & safety procedures
About You
You will thrive in this role if you:- Have an interest in agriculture, livestock nutrition, or soil science
- Enjoy hands-on, outdoor work in a rural environment
- Are comfortable using technology, including GPS and drone tools
- Can work independently with strong time management skills
- Communicate confidently with farmers and rural clients
- Hold a full NZ driver's licence (manual preferred)
An advantage:- Previous on-farm or rural industry experience
- Knowledge of pasture, crop, or soil testing
- Experience operating farm vehicles or machinery
