Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in a well-run yard, and delivers great customer service?
At Acorn ITM, we're looking for a reliable and motivated Yard & Dispatch Team Member to join our team.
This is a key role where you'll ensure customers receive accurate, on-time orders while helping maintain a safe and organised yard.
You'll be the final touchpoint before products reach site - so attention to detail, efficiency, and a positive attitude are essential.
What You'll Be Doing:- Customer Service
- Assist trade and retail customers in the yard with a friendly, professional approach
- Safely and efficiently load customer vehicles
- Represent the Acorn ITM brand with a solutions-focused attitude
- Order Picking & Dispatch
- Accurately pick and prepare orders
- Load delivery trucks in correct order for efficient runs
- Work closely with dispatch to ensure on-time, complete deliveries
- Double-check orders to minimise errors
- Yard Operations
- Keep the yard clean, tidy, and well organised
- Put stock away correctly and rotate as needed
- Assist with inward goods and stock replenishment
- Support stocktakes and cycle counts
- Health & Safety
- Follow all H&S procedures and policies
- Conduct daily forklift checks and operate machinery safely
- Identify and report hazards proactively

- Makes the dispatcher's life easier - not harder
Skills & Experience:- Forklift licence (F endorsement) - preferred
- Experience in building supplies or similar - advantageous
- Full driver's licence - required
- Yard, warehouse, or labouring experience - beneficial
