Family owned and operated, Combined Freightlines specialise in the transportation of general freight predominately around the North Canterbury District. Our extensive, well maintained fleet allow us to cater for a wide range of freight and transport requirements.
We're currently looking for experienced Class 2 and 4 Truck Drivers to join our team based in Fernside.
Available Roles
Class 4 Driver - Day Shift (Full-Time):
Monday to Friday (no weekends)
General freight deliveries
Forklift licence required (DG endorsement preferred or willingness to obtain)
Class 2 Driver - Day Shift (Expressions of Interest):
Monday to Friday (no weekends)
General freight deliveries
Forklift licence required (DG endorsement preferred or willingness to obtain)
Class 2 Driver - Night Shift (Full-Time or Job Share):
Sunday to Friday, approx. 8:30pm - 7:00am (approx. 55 hours/week)
Repetitive, consistent runs
Option to split into 2 part-time roles (e.g. 3 nights each)
You'll be responsible for:
General freight deliveries and handling
Loading/unloading using tail lifts and pallet jacks
Physical handling of freight (lifting, pushing, pulling)
What we're looking for:
Class 2 or Class 4 licence
Forklift licence preferred
Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
Reliable, punctual, and willing to work
Positive, team-focused attitude
You'll be joining a close-knit team of 11 drivers supported by office staff, where reliability and teamwork are valued.
