Access Specialties is a proudly Kiwi-owned company with over 30 years of experience in repairing, servicing, and rebuilding Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs). We work with a wide range of leading brands and support essential services across New Zealand, including fire and power sectors.
With a growing team of 40+ skilled professionals, we're looking for a motivated Workshop Technician to join us and help meet increasing customer demand.
The Role
This is a hands-on position where you'll work on a variety of EWP equipment and vehicles. You'll gain exposure to mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, with opportunities to build your expertise across multiple disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:- Service and repair EWP machinery and vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Assist with maintenance, upgrades, and rebuilds
- Ensure all work meets health and safety standards
- Collaborate with engineers, electricians, fabricators, and hydraulic technicians
What We're Looking For:- Experience in mechanical repairs and maintenance
- Knowledge of hydraulics and/or auto electrical systems (highly regarded)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Backgrounds such as forklift, plant, diesel, or automotive mechanic are ideal
- EWP experience is a bonus, but not essential

Hours of Work are Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Occasional Saturday work may be required.
