At AWA Nursery, we have a long history of selling a wide range of quality plants to our customers in Auckland and further afield. All plants are grown on site by our talented horticulturists who pride themselves in the standards of our plants.
We are excited to be expanding our operations and are now looking for amazing people to join our team and be part of the success.
We have a full-time Nursery Assistant position available at our nursery.
About the role:- Assist with plant maintenance around Nursery
- Dispatch of plants to customers
- Assist with plant propagation
- Control all conditions of crop conditions
- Operate a forklift, buggy and tractor from time to time
- Adhering to safety regulations, including manual handling techniques and safe handling of crop etc
About you:- Motivated with a can-do attitude
- Excellent at communication and time management skills
- A good level of physical fitness as heavy lifting is required
- Have a strong emphasis on health and safety
- Interested in plants
- Experience with Forklift and Tractor Operations, desirable only
