Amp't is growing in the Taupō District and we're on the lookout for a skilled HVAC Technician with residential electrical capability (or strong crossover experience) who enjoys a mix of work, takes pride in quality, and wants to be part of a team that genuinely has each other's backs.

About the role
You'll be working across air conditioning, ventilation, residential electrical, data, and servicing in homes throughout Taupō and the surrounding areas. Every job you complete helps strengthen Amp't's reputation as a trusted solutions partner delivering safe, high-quality outcomes.
All work is carried out to NZ Electrical and HVAC standards and accepted industry best practice.
What you'll be doing
HVAC & Ventilation:- Air conditioning pre-pipes, installations, commissioning, and fit-outs
- Residential and ventilation installations and upgrades
- Preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC and ventilation systems
Electrical & Data:- Residential electrical prewires, fit-outs, and final connections
- Data cabling prewires, terminations, and testing
- Completing all work to NZ standards and a high professional level
General:- Working unsupervised (where competent) and delivering consistent quality
- Keeping sites clean, safe, and organised
- Following H&S procedures and using company systems correctly
- Communicating clearly with clients, site managers, and the wider team
- Supporting apprentices when required
- Presenting yourself professionally at all times
