With an established North Island dealership, we're now expanding into Christchurch and building a forward thinking, reliable team to grow with us.
The role:
We're looking for a practical, hands-on Caravan Technician to join our new workshop.
You'll be a key part of the team - not just another number. It's a varied, hands-on role where your work matters and your input is valued.
You'll be working on premium caravans across a mix of servicing, repairs, installs, and troubleshooting.
Key responsibilities:- Pre-delivery inspections and servicing
- Repairs and general maintenance
- Installation of accessories (solar, diesel heaters, security systems)
- Basic 12v electrical, plumbing, and mechanical tasks
- Fault finding and problem solving
Skills & experience
We're open to a range of trade backgrounds. You may have experience in:- Automotive / mechanical
- Electrical or 12V systems
- Plumbing or gas fitting
- General trades / maintenance / fabrication
- Marine, RV, or similar industries
To be successful, you will have:- A practical, hands-on approach
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work
- Reliability and a solid work ethic
- Willingness to learn and take on new skills
- Full NZ driver's licence
