Industry Motor Group is a well-established and trusted New Zealand owned car dealership with branches in Penrose, Takanini and Hamilton. We take pride in delivering high quality vehicles and creating an environment where our team enjoy coming to work.
We are currently looking for a Yard Assistant / Vehicle Groomer to join our Takanini team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working around cars and wants to be part of a supportive and positive team.
What you'll be doing
You'll play an important role in keeping our dealership looking its best and ensuring vehicles are presented to the highest standard.
Your duties will include:- Grooming and detailing vehicles to a high standard
- Applying paint protection and preparing vehicles for sale
- Assisting with the daily set-up and closing of the yard
- Moving vehicles around the yard safely
- Delivering and collecting vehicles from suppliers
- Maintaining a tidy and professional yard presentation
- Supporting the team with general yard duties when required
We're looking for someone who:- Takes pride in their work and has great attention to detail
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Enjoys working with vehicles
- Is reliable and shows up ready to work every day
- Has good communication skills and works well in a team
- Holds a clean full driver's licence

Hours
This is a full-time role Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work when required.
