    • Architectural Surfaces by Tile Warehouse is seeking a passionate and design-focused Architectural Surfaces Consultant to join our Auckland showroom team.

    This role sits at the intersection of design, architecture, and sales, working closely with architects, interior designers, builders, developers, and homeowners to help bring projects to life through thoughtful material selection.

    Our showroom is more than a retail space - it is a design destination, where ideas, materials, and creativity come together to shape exceptional spaces.

    We are looking for someone with a natural flair for design, strong relationship-building skills, and the commercial drive to turn inspiration into successful projects.

    The Role

    You will play a key role in delivering an inspiring showroom experience while identifying and converting project opportunities.

    Your responsibilities will include:
    • Design Consultation
      - Assisting architects, designers, and clients with product selection
      - Interpreting plans, drawings, and design concepts
      - Recommending tile, stone, and architectural surface solutions suited to each project
    • Client Relationships
      - Building strong relationships with architects, designers, builders, and homeowners
      - Becoming a trusted advisor on materials and product applications
      - Supporting both residential and commercial projects
    • Sales & Project Opportunities
      - Converting showroom enquiries into confirmed sales
      - Following up project opportunities and maintaining strong client engagement
      - Identifying opportunities within the architectural and design community
    • Showroom Excellence
      - Maintaining a beautifully presented and inspiring showroom environment
      - Staying up to date with design trends, materials, and new product ranges
      - Contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team culture
      - Maintaining accurate operational and administrative processes
    About You

    You enjoy working with people, design, and materials, and understand the commercial side of projects.

    You will likely bring:
    • Experience in showroom sales, architectural products, interiors, or design
    • A strong interest in architecture, materials, and interior spaces
    • Confidence engaging with architects, designers, and clients
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
    • A proactive and results-driven approach to sales
    • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
    Experience in tiles, stone, flooring, or architectural surfaces would be advantageous but not essential.

    This role will suit someone who enjoys working in a design-led environment and understands the important role materials play in architecture and interior spaces.

    You may come from a background in interior design, architectural products, kitchen or bathroom design, stone, tile, or other specification-based industries.
