Double Glazing United are a family-owned business based in Matangi, Hamilton, known for delivering high-quality retrofit and replacement joinery solutions. With a strong reputation for craftsmanship and customer service, we're looking for a motivated Installer to join our team.
This is a hands-on role working both in our workshop and onsite in customers' homes, installing timber and aluminium joinery with a focus on retrofit double glazing.
About the Role
Working as part of a small team, you'll be involved in:- Installing retrofit and replacement joinery in double glazed units
- Installing timber and aluminium joinery
- Working in both workshop and residential settings
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service
- Contributing positively to a small, collaborative team
This is a full-time permanent opportunity working 7:30am - 5:00pm. An immediate start is available.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone reliable, motivated and detail-oriented who enjoys practical work and interacting with customers.
You will ideally have:- A full driver's licence (essential)
- Some experience in building, glazing, joinery, or a related trade
- Experience working with timber (highly beneficial)
- Strong attention to detail
- A positive attitude and the ability to work independently
- Good communication and customer service skills
