Village Hair | Skin | Beauty is a modern, welcoming salon located in the heart of Havelock North, and we're growing our team.
We are looking for a passionate Skin / Beauty Therapist who truly loves skin and enjoys delivering results-driven treatments and exceptional client experiences. Our salon has a loyal and growing client base, with increasing demand for advanced skin treatments and consultations.
About the Role
We are looking for someone who:- Recognised NZ Beauty Therapy qualification (or currently working toward one)
- Experience performing professional facial and skin treatments
- Confidence conducting consultations and recommending treatment plans
- Knowledge of professional skincare and retail recommendation
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organisation
- Ability to work in a busy salon environment while maintaining high treatment standards
- Positive, professional attitude and willingness to continue learning
Experience with advanced skin treatments with the Observ520 skin scanner would be an advantage, but is not essential for the right person.
Most importantly, you must have a genuine love for skin and results-driven treatments.
We are open to full-time or part-time applicants, and the hours can be flexible depending on the right person. Ideally the role would include a late night and occasional Saturdays, and could also suit two part-time positions.
Salon Hours:- Tuesday: 9am - 8pm
- Wednesday: 9am - 5pm
- Thursday: 9am - 8pm
- Friday: 9am - 5pm
- Saturday: 9am - 3pm
Your Key Responsibilities will include:- Performing professional skin and beauty treatments in a safe and timely manner
- Conducting thorough skin consultations using the Observ520 Skin Analysis Scanner
- Creating customised treatment plans tailored to client concerns
- Performing advanced facials and results-driven skin treatments
- Providing clients with clear homecare advice and skincare product recommendations
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and treatment room presentation
- Supporting client rebooking and building long-term client relationships
- Assisting with stock organisation and treatment supplies
- Delivering exceptional client care in a calm, professional environment
