    We're looking for a hands-on Branch Sales Manager who will take ownership of branch performance, lead from the front, and drive the team to consistently achieve and exceed monthly KPIs.

    About the Role

    This is a results-focused leadership role where you will be accountable for delivering strong monthly performance across:
    • Vehicle sales volume
    • Gross profit targets
    • Finance & Insurance penetration
    • Lead conversion and pipeline management
    • Customer satisfaction and online reviews
    • Stock readiness and turn performance
    You will lead from the front, actively managing daily activity to ensure the branch is on track to achieve monthly budgets.

    Key Responsibilities

    Driving Monthly Performance & KPIs:
    • Take full ownership of achieving all monthly sales, gross profit, and F&I targets
    • Monitor daily sales performance and pipeline to ensure the team is on track
    • Drive urgency and accountability around lead follow-up, appointments, and conversions
    • Identify performance gaps early and implement immediate corrective actions
    • Track key metrics including:
      - Sales volume
      - Gross profit per unit
      - Finance penetration
      - BuyerScore / customer satisfaction
      - Google review penetration
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, one-on-ones, and daily sales meetings
    Sales Leadership & Team Management:
    • Coach and develop the sales team to maximise performance and productivity
    • Create a high-performance, target-driven culture
    • Manage underperformance proactively and fairly
    • Recruit, train, and retain high-quality team members
    Operational & Stock Management:
    • Ensure vehicles are reconditioned, priced, and yard-ready for sale
    • Work closely with the Reconditioning team to prioritise stock readiness
    • Monitor stock ageing and drive turnover
    • Ensure all vehicles are accurately advertised across Trade Me, Auto Trader, and social platforms
    Customer Experience & Compliance:
    • Ensure all deals meet company and compliance requirements
    • Maintain high standards of customer experience and resolve escalations quickly
    • Monitor and drive customer satisfaction results and online reviews
    About You

    You are a hands-on, numbers-driven leader who understands that strong daily activity drives monthly results.

    You will have:
    • Proven automotive sales leadership experience
    • A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales and profit targets
    • Experience managing KPIs such as sales volume, gross, finance penetration, and conversion
    • Strong coaching and performance management skills
    • Excellent pipeline and activity management ability
    • High energy, urgency, and accountability mindset
    • Full driver's licence (manual and automatic)
    Highly regarded:
    • Finance & Insurance experience
    • Knowledge of NZ consumer and finance legislation
    • Experience with CRM/DMS systems and online automotive platforms
