We are a rapidly growing Managed Services Provider looking for an experienced and driven Account Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a client-facing environment, understands the IT landscape, and has a proven track record selling modern cloud and infrastructure solutions, especially Microsoft 365 and wider IT services.
About the Role
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients while ensuring they receive exceptional service and strategic guidance. You'll work closely with our technical team to deliver solutions that support our clients' business goals and help them get the best from their IT investments.
This role requires strong communication, relationship-building skills, and the ability to identify opportunities that deliver value for both the client and the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and grow an assigned client portfolio, developing long-term, trusted relationships.
- Identify sales opportunities across our full technology stack, including:
- Microsoft 365 solutions (licensing, migration, security, collaboration tools) - Network solutions (LAN/WAN, firewalls, Wi-Fi) - Computer hardware & software (desktops, laptops, peripherals, licensing) - Professional services (projects, consultancy, security services, support agreements) - Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent communication and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and ongoing technology roadmaps.
- Work with internal teams to coordinate service delivery, project planning, and technical scoping.
- Meet sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the MSP.
What We're Looking For:- Proven experience in MSP account management or IT solution sales.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (M365 Business, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Security & Compliance).
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, security, and cloud services.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value for clients.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- A proactive, relationship-focused approach with a passion for helping clients succeed.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
