Best Car Rentals is looking for a dependable, hard-working person to step into a Duty Manager role at our branch.
You do not need extensive experience. We will train the right person. What we need is someone reliable, switched on, and ready to take responsibility.
This is a hands-on job. You will be on your feet, managing vehicles, helping customers, cleaning cars, and driving the shuttle when required.
Hours:- Rostered between 7:00am - 7:00pm
- Weekend work is required
- Occasionally may need to work outside these hours depending on operational needs
You will report directly to the Branch Manager and must communicate any issues clearly and promptly.
What You'll Be Doing:- Overseeing day-to-day branch operations
- Supporting and directing staff on shift
- Managing fleet movement and vehicle availability
- Ensuring vehicles are clean, fuelled, and ready for hire
- Assisting with vehicle cleaning and detailing
- Driving customers via shuttle when required
- Handling bookings, contracts, and payments
- Resolving customer issues professionally
- Maintaining safety and presentation standards
What We're Looking For:- Reliable and punctual
- Strong work ethic
- Willing to learn and take initiative
- Comfortable dealing with customers
- Able to handle a fast-paced environment
- Flexible with hours, including weekends
- Full, valid driver's licence (essential)
Experience in car rental or management is a bonus - not a requirement.
