Landwork Solutions Ltd has been delivering civil works, site development and rural earthworks across the Lower North Island since 2015. Based on the Kapiti Coast, we operate across Kapiti, Horowhenua, Manawatū and Whanganui, building a strong reputation for quality workmanship, clear communication, and doing the job right the first time.
As our workload continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Digger Operator / Truck Driver to join our small, skilled team.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on role working across civil, rural and site development projects. Most work is based around the Kapiti Coast, with occasional travel for projects in surrounding regions:- Hours: 40+ hours per week
- Typically Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm
- Weekend work may be available if weather affects weekday schedules.
You'll be working across projects such as site works, subdivisions, rural access tracks, excavation, landscaping, roading and driveways.
Key Responsibilities will include:- Operating excavators (2-20T) with various attachments
- Truck driving and cartage
- Operating machinery such as rollers, graders, tractors and mulchers
- General site work including fencing and retaining, installing culverts, rural and civil labouring tasks
About You
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:- Minimum Class 4 driver licence
- WTR licence
- Proven experience operating excavators
- Civil or earthworks industry experience
- Chainsaw training/licence beneficial but not essential
- Is hands-on and willing to get stuck in
- Takes pride in delivering high-quality work
- Leads by example and supports less experienced team members
- Communicates well with clients and team
- Works well in a small team environment
