We are preparing for future growth and to help us on the journey we're looking for a capable, people-focused Operations Manager to join our team and take the lead for all our on-site operations.
What You'll Be Doing:- Leading our field staff (~20) and delivering a supportive, high-performing team culture.
- Empowering our teams to deliver great results for all on-site jobs across maintenance services and projects.
- Managing quality control, customer satisfaction, and health & safety.
- Supporting P&L management and contributing to the commercial success of the company.
- Being a trusted face of the company on site - building great client relationships.
What You'll Bring:- At least 3 years working in people leadership roles with financial accountability.
- A background in landscaping or other dispersed, outdoor, client/public facing service delivery operations would be ideal.
- Solid and expert knowledge of soft and hard landscaping disciplines
- A genuine team player who can lead teams, grow culture and lift those around them.
- Good project management capability including budgeting, scheduling and resource management.
- Understanding of NZ health and safety legislation and its practical application.
- Good commercial acumen - confident contributing to budget management and financial outcomes.
- Excellent communicator, confident in leading from the front.
