    We are now seeking a capable and commercially minded Financial Accountant to join our Finance team.

    About the role

    This is a key position within the finance function, reporting to the Head of Finance and working closely with another Financial Accountant. You will take ownership of core financial processes and deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial information to support decision-making across the business.

    You will be hands-on, autonomous, and proactive, while maintaining strong internal relationships across a large sales and operational team.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, including reconciliations and performance commentary.
    • Manage year-end reporting and coordinate with external accountants.
    • Process payroll and calculate manager bonus calculations.
    • Ensure PAYE, GST and all IRD compliance obligations are met on time.
    • Review all accounts payable payments and maintain financial controls.
    • Contribute to efficient, high-performing finance operations.
    About You

    You will be a technically strong accountant who thrives in a dynamic commercial environment.

    Key attributes:
    • Proven experience in financial accounting and month-end reporting, at least 3 years prior Financial Accounting experience
    • Strong reconciliation and compliance capability
    • High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
    • Commercial acumen and ability to provide insightful commentary
    • Advanced Excel capability
    • Contributing positively to team culture, manage priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Professional communication style with the ability to build relationships across the organisation
    Experience in NetSuite, payroll and multi-entity environments advantageous.
