Stratford ITM is a member of New Zealand's largest group of Independent Timber, Hardware, & Building Supply Merchants. We're locally owned and operated and we pride ourselves on providing our customers with great service.
We're currently looking for a Part Time Shop Assistant with a "we'll see you right" attitude to join our team in Stratford.
Our successful applicant will have:- Excellent phone manner and communication skills
- A willingness to learn and go the extra mile for our customers
- A positive, can-do attitude, and a sense of humour
- A tidy appearance
- A good work ethic
- Computer skills
- The ability to work in a team and unsupervised
Previous customer service, retail or DIY experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Key responsibilities will include; customer service, answering customer account queries, merchandising, stocktaking, tinting paint, key cutting, and ensuring all work spaces are clean and tidy.
Hours are:- Tuesday and Thursday 9am - 1pm
- Friday 8:30am - 2:30pm
- Every second Saturday 8am - 12pm.
A remuneration package including health insurance will be negotiated based on the skills and experience you bring to the role.
