Northland Office Products Depot is seeking a motivated and capable Branch Supervisor to support the daily success of our Whangārei branch. About the Role
As Branch Supervisor, you'll be the on-site leader during trading hours - the person customers trust, the team relies on, and management counts on to keep the branch running smoothly.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining:- Customer service excellence
- Daily operational coordination
- Stock and store presentation oversight
- Team support and supervision
- Health & safety leadership
While this isn't a senior management position, it plays a critical role in enabling branch performance and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Be Responsible For:- Leading day-to-day branch operations
- Delivering exceptional service to walk-in, phone, and trade customers
- Supporting and guiding team members on the shop floor
- Ensuring the store is open, organised, and operating efficiently
- Coordinating inwards goods and maintaining accurate stock processes
- Maintaining high presentation standards throughout the branch
- Managing daily opening/closing procedures
- Supporting payroll, leave coordination, and basic administration
- Promoting safe work practices and ensuring compliance
You'll be the steady presence that keeps the branch organised, professional, and customer-focused.
About You
We're looking for someone who brings:- Experience in retail, branch, or customer service environments
- Previous experience in a supervisory or senior customer service role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence handling stock, systems, and operational processes
- A calm, solution-focused approach under pressure
You'll also be:- A positive, approachable leader
- Highly reliable and accountable
- Comfortable juggling multiple priorities
- Proud of maintaining high standards
