We're a long established, trusted fabricating & engineering business with a wide client base & a diverse and continually challenging range of work.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Light & General Fabricator to join our team, based in central Dunedin.
The successful applicant will have a can-do attitude, with proven experience in all types of light fabrication - mild steel, stainless, and aluminium. Whilst working alongside the Team the role requires you to be able to work independently & unsupervised.
To succeed, you will need to bring with you a trade qualification in sheet metal work or light fabrication or 5+ years proven fabrication skills and knowledge. A proven knowledge of and experience in high-quality welding would be an added bonus.
Key Skills & Experience Required:- Ability to read & understand CAD Drawings
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to think on your feet and solve technical problems/challenges.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- A team player
- A "can do" attitude & customer focus.
- Full New Zealand driver's license
- Trade qualification or 5+ years industry knowledge and experience in metal fabrication.
