    About the role

    We are currently seeking a friendly, organised, and reliable Chiropractic Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis at our Hamilton Central, Waikato clinic. This key role involves providing exceptional customer service and efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our chiropractic practice.

    This is a part time role working afternoon shifts Tuesday to Friday from 2:45pm to 7:15pm plus a full Saturday shift, as well as a rotating Sunday shift from 6:45am to close. The successful candidate must also be flexible and willing to provide cover for additional shifts at short notice when required.

    Key responsibilities:
    • Greeting and checking in patients in a warm and welcoming manner
    • Scheduling and managing patient appointments
    • Handling telephone inquiries and providing information to patients
    • Maintaining accurate patient records and files
    • Assisting with general office tasks such as filing, photocopying and data entry
    • Ensuring the reception area and waiting room are well-organised and presentable
    • Providing support to the chiropractors and other members of the healthcare team as required
    What we're looking for:
    • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably within a healthcare or medical environment
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner
    • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
    • Proficiency in using computer software and technology, including scheduling and patient management systems
    • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records
    • A positive, flexible and team-oriented attitude
