If you're a qualified Auto Electrician, we want to talk.
If you're a sharp Automotive, Heavy Diesel or Marine Technician who wants to step further into auto electrical, we also want to talk.
We care more about capability, attitude, and pride in your work than ticking every single box. If you've got good fundamentals, a strong work ethic, and the right attitude, we're open to investing in you.
What you'll be doing:- Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems across a range of vehicles and machinery
- Fault-finding using modern diagnostic tools and scanners
- Installing and configuring electrical components and accessories
- Carrying out servicing and inspections
- Working both in the workshop and occasionally in the field
- Liaising with customers and providing practical, solution-focused advice
We work across light vehicles, heavy diesel, marine and more - no two days are the same.
What you'll need to succeed:- Relevant trade qualification or solid industry experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge with electrical aptitude (or proven auto electrical experience)
- Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Good communication skills and customer focus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Clean, full Class 1 driver's licence (HT licence a bonus)
- NZ residency or valid NZ work visa (must be currently living in NZ)
Desirable but not essential:- National Certificate in Automotive Electrical
- Air conditioning servicing experience
- Experience with diagnostic scan tools
