    • Discover Tekapo manages 100+ short-term accommodation properties, and we're looking for a capable, hands-on Operations Manager to work alongside our Business Manager and lead our day-to-day operations.

    This is a pivotal leadership role within a fast-growing business and a young, energetic team. You'll take ownership of operational performance, lead staff, and ensure exceptional guest experiences across all properties.

    What You'll Be Doing:
    • Leading the daily operations of 100+ short-term rental properties
    • Managing, mentoring, and rostering housekeeping and front office teams
    • Ensuring seamless contactless check-in/check-out processes
    • Overseeing CRM and booking systems to optimise guest communication and workflow
    • Working across PMS, dynamic pricing tools & OTA platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com etc.)
    • Coordinating maintenance, suppliers, and contractors
    • Driving operational efficiency, team performance & 5-star guest reviews
    • Assisting with recruiting staff - short and long term
    What We're Looking For:
    • Proven experience in short-term accommodation, hospitality, or property management
    • Strong working knowledge of CRM booking systems and property management systems (PMS)
    • Demonstrated experience managing and leading staff in a fast-paced environment
    • Confidence working with online booking platforms and revenue tools
    • Commercially aware, organised, and solutions-focused
    • A proactive leader who takes ownership and drives standards
