  • We are seeking a reliable and motivated Sales Representative to manage and grow our Wellington region.

    This role combines sales, customer service, and regular product deliveries, and suits someone who enjoys being hands-on and working independently.

    About Us

    Specialist Cleaning Supplies Ltd is a leading supplier of commercial cleaning equipment, chemicals, and consumables across New Zealand. We are known for our strong customer relationships, dependable service, and quality products.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage and grow an established customer base in the Wellington region
    • Actively seek and develop new customers and grow the area
    • Pick up customer orders from our Palmerston North warehouse and deliver to customers as required
    • Visit customers regularly to provide product advice and support
    • Maintain accurate sales and delivery records
    • Attend weekly meetings and report to head office in Palmerston North (relevant for applicants who will not reside in Palmerston North)
    • Represent SCS professionally at all times
    About You:
    • Previous sales experience (B2B or trade sales preferred)
    • Comfortable with regular driving, loading, and delivering goods
    • Physically fit and safety-conscious
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
    • Self-motivated with good organisation and time management
    • Full, clean NZ driver's licence
    • Cleaning supply industry experience is an advantage, but not essential

    Location & Travel:
    • Territory: Wellington Region
    • Regular travel between Palmerston North and Wellington
    • Weekly reporting/meetings at Palmerston North Head Office (relevant for applicants who will not reside in Palmerston North)
    • Applicants who reside in Palmerston North will stay 1 night in a hotel in Wellington per week
