Stihl Shop Timaru is a leading Outdoor Power Equipment retailer and service centre located in Washdyke, Timaru.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and well-organised Workshop Coordinator to join our busy workshop team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on and varied role that plays a key part in the smooth day-to-day operation of our workshop.
Responsibilities will include:- Organising and scheduling workshop repair jobs
- Booking in and invoicing workshop jobs
- Providing a high level of communication to customers regarding current and upcoming repairs
- Liaising closely with our parts department to organise parts for both current and upcoming jobs
- Preparing and managing repair quotations
- Carrying out basic workshop repairs and servicing as required
- Assembly of new products and assisting with retail tasks when needed
You'll work closely with technicians, parts, and retail staff to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and customers receive outstanding service.

We operate out of a modern, well-equipped facility, retailing and servicing some of the most trusted brands in the industry, including Stihl, Masport, Rover, Walker, Cub Cadet, Hustler, Hansa, and Stiga.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:- Outdoor Power Equipment or Automotive industry experience in a Workshop
- Some mechanical experience is preferred
- A strong desire to learn and take ownership of your role
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills and a high level of customer service
- The ability to stay calm and work effectively under pressure
