    We are seeking an experienced B2B appointment setter who can confidently engage New Zealand businesses and consistently secure qualified meetings for our sales team.

    This is a professional outbound role focused on meaningful business conversations and measurable results - not a generic call centre position.

    The Role

    Your primary responsibility is to generate qualified appointments by engaging the right decision-makers within NZ businesses.

    You will:
    • Conduct structured outbound calls to targeted companies
    • Confidently navigate gatekeepers to reach decision-makers
    • Identify and secure accurate contact details where needed
    • Qualify opportunities before booking appointments
    • Schedule meetings and send professional calendar invites
    • Maintain detailed and accurate CRM records (Odoo)
    • Follow up warm marketing leads
    • Re-engage past customers to uncover new opportunities
    You are the link between marketing activity and revenue generation. Your effectiveness directly impacts the performance of the sales team.

    Performance Expectations

    This is a high-activity outbound role requiring:
    • Consistent daily calling activity
    • Regular engagement with business decision-makers
    • A disciplined approach to qualification
    • A steady flow of well-qualified appointments
    • Accurate CRM logging and follow-up management
    We value quality conversations over superficial volume - but this role requires energy, focus, and measurable output.

    Hours:
    • 20 hours per week initially
    • Monday-Friday only
    • Either:
      - 4 hours per day (5 days per week), OR
      - 5 hours per day (4-day week)
    • Calling hours must fall between 9:00am-4:30pm with a 1.5-hour lunch break between 12:00pm-1:30pm
    • Opportunity for additional hours as the business grows
    Location:
    • NZ-based applicants only
    • Remote position available
    • Ashburton-based applicants who can attend the office occasionally are encouraged
    Remuneration:
    • $27-$30 per hour (based on experience)
    • Opportunity for performance-based incentives
    About You

    You must have proven experience in B2B outbound calling or appointment setting, with clear examples of results achieved.

    You bring:
    • Clear, professional spoken English
    • A confident and natural phone manner
    • Experience engaging New Zealand business customers
    • Strong objection-handling skills
    • The ability to guide conversations forward without being pushy
    • Resilience and consistency
    • Strong CRM discipline and accurate data entry habits
    • The ability to work independently and manage structured activity targets
    This role is best suited to someone who enjoys intelligent conversations, measurable performance, and taking ownership of outcomes.

    This Role Is Not Suitable If:
    • You are new to outbound calling
    • You prefer inbound or support-only roles
    • You are uncomfortable handling objections
    • You dislike structured performance expectations
