B & M Joinery Cromwell is currently a team of 11 (12 if you count our dog Oakley!) with a combined experience of more than 70 years in the industry.
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Joinery Detailer to join our team. This is a full time maternity cover contract for a 6 month period, with the chance of being extended after. For the right candidate we are open to consider applicants living outside the area to work remotely from home.
The successful candidate will have a crucial role in the business and will be working with the management team to produce 3D renders and manufacturing drawings.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:- Read concept plans
- Collaborate all joinery details
- Use Vectorworks to produce detailed plans for clients and production programming
- Communicate with Sales, Design, manufacturing and Administration departments
We require a highly motivated person with 2+ years experience in the joinery industry who likes the challenge of working with our team to produce quality products.
Other key skills and attributes include:- Practical and logical thinking
- A familiarity with CAD software, specifically Vectorworks & Enroute
- A positive attitude and good work ethic
- The ability to work to tight time frames and meet deadlines
- Ability to read and understand variety of plans
- A good eye for detail
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.
We operate in a small, friendly team environment with a great atmosphere, where everyone pitches in for the same goal - a quality finished product.
This is a full time role working 48.5 hours a week minimum. Remuneration between $35-42/hr will be aligned with the skills and experience you bring to the role.
