We are currently looking for experienced Mechanical Engineers to join our growing team!
We have night shift opportunities available; 12 hours shifts - Monday to Thursday.
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:- Experience with Krones machines or equivalent.
- Experience in Beverages / Bottling is a plus.
- Safety-first mindset: Commitment to performing tasks safely and responsibly.
- Customer service excellence: Strong focus on delivering outstanding service.
- Welding and manufacturing experience is a must.
- Tech-savvy: Basic computer skills,
- Willingness to get stuck in and make a difference.
- Communication skills: Good communication abilities, able to work independently and prioritise tasks.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing customer demands.
This is a fast-paced and busy role, where you'll be responsible for:- Pro-Active Preventative Maintenance efforts.
- Contributing to technical and feasibility studies for engineering projects.
- Developing and implementing creative solutions for any issues at our facility.
- Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and increase productivity.
- Maintaining a safe working environment for all staff by ensuring compliance with NZ standards.
- Supporting audits and adherence to food safety, HACCP, GMP, and SOPs.
- Participating in the investigation of manufacturing-failures; identifying root causes, communicating and being involved with the necessary corrective action.
- Engineering adherence to Food Security Policy/Program; ensuring food security preventive measures are being implemented and routinely audited regarding the handling and packaging of all finished product.
