We are seeking an experienced Senior Joiner who sets the standard for quality, precision and leadership on site.

About the Role
As a Senior Joiner, you will oversee and execute high-end joinery projects from conception through to completion. You will work closely with other skilled trades, ensure the highest quality control standards are met, and provide guidance and on-the-job training to junior team members. This role is hands-on, varied, and focused on delivering outstanding results on premium residential builds.
Key Responsibilities:- Understand and apply the highest quality control techniques at all times
- Oversee and execute complex joinery projects from start to finish
- Read and analyse blueprints, plans and specifications to determine job requirements
- Measure, cut and build frames for houses, walls, windows, doors and staircases
- Measure and install high-quality furniture and joinery including cabinets, shelving and bespoke fittings
- Carry out maintenance and repairs to existing structures and fittings
- Inspect products and materials to ensure conformity with operational standards
- Check accuracy of work using levels and surveying equipment
- Plan and organise work, including measurements and calculations
- Communicate effectively with other trades to ensure timely project delivery
- Confidently provide on-the-job training and support to team members
- Perform incidental trade and non-trade tasks to ensure overall project completion
- Safely and effectively use, and oversee the use of, a wide range of hand tools, power tools and machinery
- Lift and carry heavy materials and structural components
- Apply and enforce workplace Health & Safety requirements, policies and procedures
About You:- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Joiner
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Confident working independently and leading by example on site
- Reliable, motivated and professional
- Must be an NZ Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid work visa
