Contour Joinery is a dynamic and growing furniture and kitchen joinery company, proudly crafting high-quality, long-lasting furniture and bespoke joinery for homes throughout Wanaka and New Zealand. As a small and diverse team, we enjoy a wide variety of work, using native and exotic timbers along with a broad range of modern materials. Our projects range from one-off custom pieces to premium new builds and large-scale fit-outs.
We're currently looking to add a Qualified or Experienced Joiner to our team in Wanaka.
Our ideal candidate will be motivated, detail-focused, and eager to contribute to a high-performing team. You'll need to have a relevant trade qualification and/or at least 3 years experience in the cabinet-making and woodwork industry.
You'll be responsible for:- Manufacturing and installing a wide variety of custom joinery projects
- Managing your workload to ensure projects are completed on time
- Organising and ordering materials required for individual jobs
- Supporting team members with manufacturing and installation as required
You'll need:- Strong work ethic: reliable, honest, and self-motivated
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Enthusiasm and ability to adapt to a flexible working environment
- A valid drivers licence
- Legal entitlement to work in NZ
