Tyreland is a privately owned tyre company which has been servicing the commercial tyre requirements in the Central Otago area for over 47 years.
We employ over 22 staff across 4 locations in Central Otago and are seeking two full-time Senior Fleet Tyre service person based out of our Cromwell branch. This is a full-time role of 40 hours per week plus two Saturday mornings from 8am till 12 noon.
Job Description Senior Fleet Tyre Technician.
The Role
We require a person with at least three years' fleet tyre experience to join the team, and you will require these skills:- Sound knowledge of the commercial tyre industry so you can carry out fleet checks and report back to customers with your findings.
- Be able to fit heavy machine tyres for trucks, loaders, tractors, graders and car /4wd.
- Be able to repair all the above using industry best practices.
- Quote customers on all their needs whether it's new/retread tyres or the repair of the above.
- Monthly report sent to local manager on what's happened in the last month and what is coming up.
- You must be a team player and have good communication skills as a senior team member, and you will be working and passing on knowledge to trainee staff.
