    About the Role

    We're seeking a proactive, detail-focused Production Worker / Operator to join our manufacturing team.

    The purpose of this role is to safely and efficiently manufacture, pack and prepare products to the company's quality standards by following production specifications, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality control requirements, supporting the Production Manager to meet customer order deadlines and company margin objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Perform production and assembly tasks across multiple manufacturing lines in line with schedules, SOPs and specifications.
    • Accurately weigh, measure and handle ingredients; complete product changeovers, line set-ups and verification checks.
    • Conduct in-process quality checks, identify defects, quarantine non-conforming product and report issues promptly.
    • Complete batch records, traceability documentation and compliance paperwork accurately and on time.
    • Assist with stock control, materials handling, rotation and tidy, accurate storage of ingredients and packaging.
    • Operate machinery safely within training limits; clean, maintain and report faults on equipment and work areas.
    • Follow all health, safety and hygiene requirements and contribute to a safe, well-organised production environment.

    Skills & experience:

    • Good record-keeping and documentation accuracy
    • Team-oriented with the ability to support others
    • Full, clean driver's licence (preferred)
    • NZQA / industry training in manufacturing, food production or similar (advantageous)
    • Forklift licence (advantageous)
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Willingness to be trained and assessed on machinery and production lines
    This is a full time role working 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday. An immediate start is available.
