Are you a practical, capable jack of all trades who enjoys variety and problem-solving? We're looking for a Workshop Technician to join our growing Christchurch team.
This is a varied role where no two days will be the same. You'll work hands-on with premium caravans carrying out:- Repairs, installations, maintenance, and pre-delivery checks
- 12V wiring (lighting, brakes, solar)
- Accessory installs (diesel heaters, motor movers, solar panels, security systems)
- Fault finding and troubleshooting (including phone support)
- Basic plumbing and water systems
- Warranty servicing and scheduled maintenance
- Occasional customer interaction
Our ideal candidate will come from a trade background, preferably with experience in electrics (12V/240V), gas, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, welding, or similar.
You will also need to demonstrate:- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Confidence, efficiency, and happy to get stuck in
- Comfortable working alone or as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and time management
- Willingness to learn and upskill
- Clean NZ driver's licence
- Tech-savvy (phone/iPad-based workshop system)
This is a full time role working 40 hours per week, with excellent work-life balance.
