We are currently seeking a capable Warehouse Coordinator (2IC) to support the smooth and efficient operation of our Christchurch site.
This is a hands-on role that combines warehouse coordination with leadership responsibilities, providing support to the Plant Manager and stepping up when required.
You will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, including inwards and outwards goods, inventory control, and shipping processes. The role ensures accurate receipting, timely dispatch, and compliance with company standards, while helping maintain strong operational flow across the site.
Key responsibilities will include:- Receive, check and receipt incoming goods accurately
- Prepare, pick and dispatch orders, coordinating with carriers for on-time delivery
- Organise shipments, complete invoicing and maintain dispatch documentation
- Assist with loading/unloading, general warehouse duties and housekeeping
- Conduct stocktakes, manage inventory accuracy and stock replenishment
- Work collaboratively to meet operational targets and provide plant leadership when required
About you:- MPI Accredited (required)
- Forklift licence (required)
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Understanding of shipping, invoicing, and inventory systems
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Clear communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- First Aid Certificate - preferred
- Class 2 Truck licence - preferred
