About Us:
Property Assistant is Auckland's go-to provider for high-quality building and property maintenance services. We support commercial, body corporate, and residential clients with everything from minor repairs to major renovations. From plumbing to painting, roofing to electrical - we're the one-stop maintenance shop.
We're now looking for a skilled and reliable builder with significant handyperson and maintenance experience to join our team in a full-time contract role. You'll be key in delivering a wide range of maintenance and repair services across various sites.
What You'll Do:- Carry out building and general maintenance tasks as assigned (both commercial & residential)
- Leak detection and remedial repair work
- General renovations and structural repairs
- Painting, plastering, and finishing work
- Follow systems and processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety
- Represent the business with professionalism and pride in every job
About You:- Strong experience in building, general maintenance, and handyperson duties
- Confident working across a mix of trades (painting, plastering, roofing, etc.)
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Professional, well-presented, and customer-focused
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Health & safety conscious with a proactive approach to problem-solving
